What's with GS these days guys?

Hi Everyone,

I was just over at GS and BOY has it changed over the years.

Anyone care to add to this or am I the only one seeing this?
It seems like you're sticking your hand in a GRINDER :eek:

This place seems more friendly and open to talking about gear instead of slamming one another.

i agree it has be getting nasty over their :( i think we are all guilty of take thing to personal at times ( i can admit to that myself ), but it dose seem like a lot jabs made could have been avoided with better control from moderation.
maybe it is just to large to control :confused:
the atmosphere their dose not seems to me to be as welcome as it once was.

I haven't been over there in over a year I think...there's more hateful and just nasty assholes at Gearslutz than at a proctology clinic....

Seems to be a growing trend - as more an more people get into computer recording for less than $200, the average IQ, age, and manner sets decline almost exponentially....

Pan: one of the most decent and friendly people I've spoken with on the phone - and will be honored to meet him eye to eye before much longer....

There are a few decent people left, but they seem to be too busy to fuss and be internet experts....:eek:

Agreed. I hardly ever post there (or even read many threads) anymore. It seems to get the same way on all boards I read - as the popularity grows and the audience becomes younger, the board has less value and more pissing matches.
